This beautiful, authentic log cabin is on a working Angus cattle ranch. Immerse yourself in a rustic world of horses, cattle, and real cowboys on this authentic slice of Colorado agriculture. With over 300 acres, seclusion is not a problem, making for great wildlife viewing. The cabin is adjacent to the South Arkansas River, and features a mile of river frontage; fishing is an angler's dream.
The property borders BLM land and lends itself to great hiking. Monarch Ski Resort is a mere 20 minutes away. Six miles to the east is the town of Salida, Colorado, where you will find many nice restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, and more. Recently, it was used for a location in a feature film.
Amenities include a washer/dryer, electric range, microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator (with ice maker), pellet stove and in-floor radiant heat. WiFi has recently been added.
The interior is decorated in a charming western theme, featuring log furniture, wildlife light-switch covers, and artistic hand-finished wood highlights on the cabinets and furniture.
